In order to correct the problem with the Florida 2007 CD installing on a VISTA Operating System run this Executable file instead of using the CD to install the 2007 Florida Codes. Before installing the new 2007 VISTA compatable file you will need to uninstall the original Install Program or 2007 Florida Codes.

Before installing the Executable file you will want to right click on the icon and tell it to run in XP Compatibility mode before running the .EXE file.

Also, here are additional steps to be followed for Vista machine if it doesn't work by default:

To run the 2007 Florida Codes after they have been installed on a Windows Vista machine change the options as follows:

Desktop

• Right click the 2007 FL icon on the desktop.
• Select Properties from the menu.
• On the Properties menu click the compatibility tab.
• Under “Compatibility mode” check the box and select Windows XP.
• Also, check the “Run this program as an administrator” box under Privilege Level.
• Click Ok.

Menu

• Click the start button in the lower left corner.
• On the menu select All programs.
• Select I-Quest 2007 Florida Codes.
• Right click 2007 Florida Code.
• Select Properties from the menu.
• On the Properties menu click the compatibility tab.
• Under “Compatibility mode” check the box and select Windows XP.
• Also, check the “Run this program as an administrator” box under Privilege Level.
• Click Ok.

 

After downloading the Executable file it is highly suggested if you can to make a copy of the Executable to a CD or external device for safe keeping.
